Traçat means ‘traced’ in Niçois, the local dialect in Nice, France, where a part of me is rooted. Inspired by embodied ethnography, I retrace how my identity is recorded in my skin and memories. I revisit the genealogy of a tick I got from my grandmother, a turn of phrase I learned from my mother, an obsession I caught from my father. That history, and the sensorial memories and movements it provokes, is allowed to tumble out.
