The Yellow Umbrella—An Unfinished Conversation is a performance installation by Catherine Chun Hua Dong of twelve performers. In a row, they hold and repeat a sequence of gestures of resistance and rebellion, each with yellow umbrellas.

The work was performed in the gallery of the MAI (Montréal, arts interculturels), on February 7, 2015 and again at Nuit Blanche 2016 with Art Souterrain.
